About Poolman Pools & Spas

Poolman Pool & Patio, Inc. originated in spring of 1977 in a small store on the corner of Shaker & Elm Streets, Enfield, CT. At long last, there was a source for existing pool owners to purchase parts and supplies, not to mention a place for prospective buyers to purchase a new above-ground or in-ground pool. Its originator, Dennis McGloin, established his pool business with the concept of going to whatever degree to satisfy and service his customers.

We are proud to adhere to the same standards of excellence in servicing and supporting what now has become a vast customer base in the greater Hartford area. Our customer-base expanded to the shoreline of Connecticut through in-ground pool installations.

Experience is paramount. And to that end, we are pleased to point out that General Manager Roger Langlois is going on his 19th year, Construction Manager and In-Ground Supervisor Jeff Welles is going on his 23rd year, and Above-Ground Supervisor Matt Hart is going on his 18th year. Tim Armstrong and Tate Welles play central roles in all of the above-mentioned construction areas. These three individually have work histories of at least 13 years with our company.

With the popularity surge of mass merchants and catalogue houses, our objective is to maintain our tradition of personalized and professional service to our customers. Our warranties and life-time guarantees on workmanship always will exceed industry standards. No aspect of our construction has, or ever will include subcontractors.
